2 cups sugar
2 cups water
1 bunch (1 ounce) mint leaves
Bring sugar and 2 cups water to a boil in small saucepan, and stir until sugar dissolves.
Remove from heat. Tear fresh mint leaves and add to mixture.
Let stand for 10 minutes. Pour syrup through a wire-mesh strainer into a bowl, syrup is ready to be used.
